Yes, one would imagine that Oxford University Press would be a little more rigorous! Wouldn't be surprised if the typesetters had classical degrees, back in those days - but apparently not, after all.

Hypo vs hyper is always tricky, and I can only remember it by "hypodermic needle". The others tbf are not quite so simple!
