I actually have Adonis (at home, not with me right now - I'm currently indefinitely located in another country, whee), but yeah - I mean, I'll try any Sutcliff I come across, but I put more effort into hunting down some of the others.
I guess I'm less interested in takes on actual historical figures than the equivalents of her protagonists/bffs. Like Frytha in Shield Ring, but with later Sutcliff writing skills. :-P (I did find it very curious that Frytha seemed to manage to get through battles without ever actually killing anyone, though.) I feel like the Renaissance offers a lot more freedom re: women's roles than she seems to think it did? And I mean, she mostly wanted to write about men, fine, but I really liked some of her side female characters and I really like the Renaissance, so I just want something to fill that particular niche in my id, haha.
