It's a tremendous joy to see The Eagle (2011) still prompts vidders to create something (see previous vid post).

Dear Sutcliff community members,

It is always a joy when something new and exciting and relevant to our interests happens, and, considering that The Eagle film was released five years ago, new fanvids have become a rare treat.

Which is why it is so pleasant to see vidders taking an interest in the Eagle of the Ninth story, with this lovely vid posted in September 2016:
