Greetings!
Here are some current statistics on the state of fandom: counting the transformative works posted on AO3 for all Rosemary Sutcliff book canons.
This is an aggregated list of fandoms by the number of works (there are now 472 in total).
A similar summary was done a little over a year ago, in November 2017 [see here], and so in the spirit of symmetry a repeat is being posted pre-Yuletide. The total number of fanworks on AO3 has gone up by 39 compared to the time of the previous probe into the depths of the archive (from 433 in November, 2017 to 472 in December, 2018).
1. The Eagle of the Ninth (261 works)
2. Frontier Wolf (81 works)
3. The Lantern Bearers (18 works)
4. The Silver Branch (17 works)
5. Blood Feud (14 works)
6. The Mark of the Horse Lord (14 works)
7. Sword at Sunset (14 works)
8. Outcast (12 works)
9. Dawn Wind (6 works)
10. The Shining Company (6 works)
11. Knight's Fee (5 works)
12. Sword Song (5 works)
13. The Truce of the Games (3 works)
14. Warrior Scarlet (3 works)
15. The Witch's Brat (3 works)
16. Blood and Sand (2 works)
17. The Rider of the White Horse (2 works)
18. The Sword and the Circle (1 work)
19. The Armourer's House (1 work)
20. Sun Horse Moon Horse (1 work)
21. A Circlet of Oak Leaves (1 work)
22. Flame-Coloured Taffeta (1 work)
23. The Fugitives (1 work)
A wide variety of Sutcliff works are represented so far, from long novels to tiny short stories, from well-known to really obscure. Notable dynamics:
New works (listed by volume of new output per fandom):
The Eagle of the Ninth +22 (from 239 to 261 works)
Frontier Wolf +4 (from 77 to 81 works)
Sword Song +3 (from 2 to 5 works)
The Shining Company +2 (from 4 to 6 works)
The Silver Branch +1 (from 16 to 17 works)
The Mark of the Horse Lord +1 (from 13 to 14 works)
Sword at Sunset +1 (from 13 to 14 works)
The Truce of the Games +1 (from 2 to 3 works)
Warrior Scarlet +1 (from 2 to 3 works)
The Witch's Brat +1 (from 2 to 3 works)
New fandoms:
Flame-Coloured Taffeta (as you like it: requested in last year's round up post, this novel now has its first fanwork!)
A Circlet of Oak Leaves (unwrangled but defiant: while you still cannot find it by browsing the Books & Literature section, this short story has its first fanwork now, too!)
As you can see, twelve Sutcliff book canons have been active over the past year.
Last year, community members indicated they would like to see more works for Warrior Scarlet, The Shining Company, Knight's Fee, Song for a Dark Queen, Flame-Coloured Taffeta, The Armourer's House, The Flowers of Adonis, The Fugitives, The Truce of the Games, and The Man Who Died at Sea.
What do you think of the recent output dynamic? Any surprises or joyous moments? What do you think this year, is there a Sutcliff work you'd like to see celebrated more? Do tell in comments!

--you can see how the AO3 wranglers have connected that tag with all the Jane Austen titles (not to mention every Austenish tag), so that when you click on the Jane Austen - Works tag--

I wonder whether it's possible to request to AO3 that the Rosemary Sutcliff - Works tag be marked common and wrangled? I mean, for heaven's sakes, Aristophanes - Works has been marked common and wrangled, and he only has two fanfics at AO3.
"Any hopes for new fanworks?"
Honestly, what I'd love to see is more art. The Queen's Thief fandom has a ton of art coming out every week, but it doesn't look as though there's much coming out in this fandom?
More discussions would be lovely too.

Date: 2018-12-13 02:58 pm (UTC)We are, in fact, low on art because we are low on artists in the Sutcliff community.
Do you have any ideas for dedicated discussion posts? Any topics preferred? :) We're really up for anything here if there's desire & interest!

Date: 2018-12-16 10:25 am (UTC)I'm so new to the Sutcliff fandom (I mean online; I've been a Sutcliff fan for forty years) that I don't even know what's been discussed! My last review here generated a little discussion; I'll keep posting reviews and see whether that helps.
